Boyhood dreams, heroes, and growing up in America during the 1960’s and the 1970’s have been the fuel that feeds my imagination and inspires me to paint what I paint.

For 37 years I’ve been training, preparing, and sharpening my skills as a
commercial illustrator, graphic and fine artist for these times we are living
in today.

Before I begin the final artwork or painting I conduct extensive research on
the subject matter. Then I create many pencil sketches (studies); then I create miniature full color “comps”. My chosen mediums are acrylic paint, charcoal,
pastel, pencil, pen & ink, and gouache because of the durability, immediate
results and quick drying time.
